The Angels have gotten the David Murphy they had hoped for!
Murphy’s tying homer was lost amid the extra inning drama though.
“I think I got a surge of adrenaline for a week to 10 days,” Murphy said. “Sometimes it can be a good thing, but I don’t think I was using it to my advantage. I don’t think I was slowing the game down like I could have. When things are good, they are slow up there and the adrenaline was only speeding up the game for me even more.”
