The phrase “Humble and Hungry,” most notably heard in a football coach’s pregame speech, but it’s a fitting description for Stone Crabs left-hander Grayson Garvin.
Drafted in the supplemental first round of the 2011 MLB Draft, Garvin’s potential is well-known throughout the Rays organization, and earned him the opportunity to make his professional debut as the Stone Crabs Opening Day starter at Charlotte Sports Park on April 5th.
